Things to do in London

I must admit I do take London for granted as I live so close to it, but every day I travel to London it feels like a mini break. There are million of things to do with family and friends from quirky restaurants to west end shows. When I was working and studying in London I was always rushing to the next place but you can't help to appreciate the how much excitement London brings to people.

This blog post will be updated regularly as I explore more of London.

Restaurants:

STK

One of the best steak restaurants with many restaurants worldwide in Dubai, New York, Ibiza... There is entertainment at the weekends with DJs and the incredible food. The mini burgers and deserts are my favourites!

The Ivy Asia

The Ivy has many amazing restaurants in and around London. This has recently opened with the most incredible views overlooking St Pauls Cathedral. The decor is amazing you feel like you have stepped into another world. They always have events on with DJs and Dancers.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

Another one of my favourite destinations for The Ivy. Chelsea is known for its beautiful gardens and flower walls.

Sushi Sumba

The clear lift takes you to the 39th Floor without missing the views of the city. I would rate this the best Sushi restaurant!

Duck and Waffle

Cafe:

Cereal Killer Cafe

Giving you childhood nostalgia with memories from the 90s and 2000s. Full of cereal from limited edition packs (e.g. Barbie, Simpsons) to your worldwide favourites (e.g. lucky charms). You can play games and even use a bed as a bench!

Peggy Poschen Cakes

A very instagram location for all the pink lovers out there. Tasty hot chocolates and cakes with a Parisian feel to the place.

Elan Café

Another instagramable location, famously known for their flower walls and pink aesthetic!

Bars:

Jin Bo Law

This is a very small rooftop bar located in Aldgate. The staff are really friendly and talkative, it is a great atmosphere with DJs on the weekends.

Events:

New Years Eve Fireworks

One of the top places in the world to watch the famous New Years Eve Fireworks. Now you need to make sure you buy tickets for the best views. It was an incredible experience to watch it live rather than on the midnight news. I have New York, Dubai and Sydney on my bucket list next.

London Fashion Week

London is one of the fashion capitals of the world! Fashion Week normally happens in February and September of each year. You can buy tickets to watch the shows and shop the new looks.

Just round the corner from Liberty London is the little road Carnaby Street which features pop ups and boutiques.

Landmarks:

Buckingham Palace

The most famous landmark of them all is of course Buckingham Palace. Millions of people visit here every year to take a glimpse at royal life. It is very exciting and fun to go to when there are weddings, anniversaries and coronations happening.

Shoreditch

There are lots of fun bars in Shoreditch and vintage boutiques.

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

If you follow a lot of influencers this is where they normally take the nice fashion pictures, this is the part of London which is often shown in movies. It is very picturesque and is where the billionaires live! Also if you have seen Made in Chelsea the posh 1% of britons are based around here.

Nottinghill

The colourful instagramable place in London, with pretty little streets and the most incredible homes for the billionaires! It is very prestige.

Madame Tussauds

If you haven't seen a celebrity in London which would be a surprise then Madame Tussauds is the closest you will get, although there have been real celebrity sightings there.

Football Stadiums

Football is huge in England. I support Tottenham Hotspur so I was very excited to visit the new stadium with my dad.
