Things to do in Barbados

Barbados is officially my favourite place in the Caribbean! My goal now is to have a holiday home in the area so I can keep coming back! This islands has some of the best beaches I have ever seen in my life, the west coast is definitely the one.

Explore the Beaches

The beaches have soft white sand, a million palm trees and crystal clear water. There are a lot of great waves if you love to surf. When I'm in Barbados I normally go for a bike ride along the beach or snorkeling, or a boat trip around the island. My favourite beaches in Barbados are Sandy Lane, Paynes Bay and Mullins beach.

Coastal Horse ride

The only way I would recommend seeing the gorgeous beaches is by a nice morning coastal ride. I went with Steves Horses who can be found on Facebook he only does one morning ride a day. He is an ex jockey and has been around horses all his life. He takes very good care of his horses and rescues them. That is why I would highly recommend using him. We went for a nice ride down the west coast.

See the Racehorses in the Ocean

If you are up early enough in Bridgetown Barbados you can witness the racehorses being washed in the ocean. You can take pictures and swim with them.

Garrison Savannah Racetrack

The best time to come to the racetrack is for the Sandy Lane cup in March.

The Boatyard

The Boatyard is a fun place to go, you pay around £40 for entry which you can get back through credit for food and drink. This also includes a free boat trip to visit the shipwrecks and sea turtles. There are lots of fun activities on the beach such as rope swinging and slides.
